Olivia Smith is a licensed master of social work who specializes in working with teens and young adults navigating complex trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and major life transitions. Her approach is deeply relationship-centered, grounded in the belief that meaningful therapeutic work can only happen in a space built on trust, safety, and connection. Originally from Austin, Olivia holds both a Master of Social Work and a Master of Divinity from Baylor University. This unique blend of clinical and spiritual training allows her to support clients who are exploring religious trauma, spirituality, or meaning-making, alongside more traditional mental health concerns. She is trained in EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and integrates these evidence-based practices with a holistic understanding of the mind-body connection.Olivia also draws from her background in child development, family sciences, and dance, and is particularly interested in continuing her training in somatic and dance/movement therapies. For Olivia, therapy is not about fixing what’s broken—it’s about reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that are already resilient. She meets her clients with warmth, honesty, and curiosity, helping them feel empowered to move forward and create a life that brings joy. Olivia is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing on a range of evidence-based modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and expressive arts interventions such as art and music therapy.
