Solutions For Change Granted The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval
Solutions For Change is thrilled to announce a significant milestone for our intensive outpatient treatment program for substance abuse. We are proud to share that we have been awarded the prestigious Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for accreditation. This recognition is a testament to our dedication to excellence in the field of addiction treatment.
The Joint Commission is a renowned and respected accrediting organization in the healthcare industry. They are committed to continuously improving the safety and quality of healthcare and services, with a strong focus on patient-centered care. Earning the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission is a distinguished honor, signifying that an organization has met and exceeded rigorous standards of care and safety.
Earning the Gold Seal of Approval is no easy feat; it requires unwavering dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. The process began with a thorough self-assessment of our program’s policies, procedures, and practices. This step allowed us to identify areas that needed improvement and set the stage for our pursuit of excellence. The Joint Commission conducted an in-depth evaluation of our program. Over a two-day onsite review they examined our treatment modalities, clinical processes, staff qualifications, and the safety and quality of care we provide.
Following the evaluation, we made the necessary adjustments and improvements based on the Joint Commission’s recommendations. This iterative process helped us fine-tune our program to align with the highest standards of care. Our staff members played a pivotal role in our journey to accreditation. They underwent rigorous training and education to ensure they were well-equipped to provide the best care possible. Accreditation is not a one-time achievement. We have pledged to continue striving for excellence through ongoing self-assessment and improvement, with the goal of consistently providing the highest quality of care.

More about Solutions For Change Intensive Outpatient Program in the Dallas Metroplex
Intensive Outpatient Programs are an important component of the continuum of care for substance use disorders. IOPs can be as effective as inpatient treatment, what many people think of as traditional “rehab,” for most individuals seeking care.
IOP provides 3 hours a day of clinical treatment a minimum of 3 days per week for those who would benefit from more support for their mental health and/or substance use concerns than a weekly outpatient therapy appointment can provide. Our IOP offers weekly one-on-one therapy sessions, family support, skills, and process groups. The schedule and program is customized based on each person’s needs and schedule. Our objective is to assist each person in tailoring a program and schedule that supports them in achieving their desired outcomes. The length of stay depends upon the person’s goals, number of attended program days per week, and progress; however, the average length of stay is approximately 6-8 weeks. We offer programming throughout the day and evening to help accommodate a variety of scheduling needs.
Our intensive outpatient program is designed to help anyone find recovery, healing, and connection. We believe that using substances is often a person’s best attempt to cope with difficult life circumstances. We approach treatment from a non-judgmental perspective to help each person feel connected while gaining understanding of themselves, and paving a new way.
