Meet the team

Meghan is an LMSW specializing in the treatment of adults struggling with trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, addiction, relationship stressors, and other stressful life events. Meghan is trained in and utilizes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) for the treatment of all types of trauma. Additionally, she is trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and Solution-Focused Therapy. Meghan is skilled at utilizing a multi-layered approach with evidence-based interventions to create a treatment plan unique to each individual she works with. Meghan studied Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin and has had the opportunity to practice both locally and abroad in Tanzania and Honduras in a variety of settings from homeless shelters to AIDS organizations to private therapy offices. It is through these experiences that she has been able to experience the common threads of humanity and the similar issues we all deal with as human beings. Meghan believes that these experiences have enhanced her ability to provide therapeutic services with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
